Katie Edgerton graduated from California College of the Arts in Jewelry and Metal Design in 2015 before returning to her hometown of Seattle, WA, and immersing herself in the jewelry field. In 2021, she shifted gears, earning a Master's in Education from the University of Washington, specializing in Special Education and Literacy. Now, Katie thrives as a third-grade teacher at a school dedicated to language-based learning differences like Dyslexia.
Amidst her dedication to teaching, Katie's artistic spirit remains vibrant. Drawing from her jewelry design background, she crafts pieces that transcend mere adornment, capturing the essence of memory and memoir.
Each creation embodies the wearer's personal narrative, a testament to Katie's enduring passion for storytelling through metalwork. When not shaping young minds or metal, Katie finds solace in travel, gluten-free sourdough baking, and cherished moments with friends and family.
